Chadar Poshi Performed at Fatehpur Sikri Shrine; Devotees Pray for the Pilot’s Good Health and Long Life
Fatehpur Sikri: Special prayers were offered at the historic shrine of Hazrat Sheikh Salim Chishti in Fatehpur Sikri for the speedy recovery and well-being of Indian pilot Captain Smit Machhar.
Pirzada Saif Miyan Chishti, along with Maulanas, Hafizs and devotees, performed chadar poshi at the shrine and offered prayers for the pilot’s health and long life.
According to the information shared on the occasion, Captain Smit Machhar, an Indian pilot with flydubai, reportedly displayed courage during a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv after being attacked and seriously injured. Despite the difficult circumstances, he played an important role in ensuring the safety of the passengers on board.

Captain Smit is currently undergoing treatment in hospital, and his condition is reported to be stable. Prayers and messages wishing him a speedy recovery have been coming from different parts of the country and abroad.
Speaking on the occasion, Pirzada Saif Miyan Chishti praised Captain Smit’s courage and said that the country needs people who demonstrate such bravery and commitment to their responsibilities.
He said the special prayers at the shrine were organised for Captain Smit’s good health and long life. He also said that the pilot’s courage has made the country proud.
A large number of devotees participated in the prayers and expressed their wishes for Captain Smit’s early recovery.
