Agra: Dr. MPS Group of Institutions is set to organize its three-day Annual Sports Meet, “Challenger 2025–26,” from February 19 to February 21, 2026. The much-awaited sporting extravaganza will witness enthusiastic participation from students across various departments, showcasing talent, teamwork, and competitive spirit.
A press conference was held at the institute’s auditorium for the official unveiling of the event trophy, T-shirts, and poster.

Focus on Holistic Development
Chairperson Squadron Leader A.K. Singh stated that the institution has remained a pioneer in quality education since its inception. Emphasizing student-centric growth, he said that “Challenger” is not merely a sports event but a platform that nurtures confidence, leadership skills, and the ability to face life’s challenges with determination.
Administrative Director Dr. A.K. Goyal highlighted that the institution is equally committed to research and entrepreneurial initiatives that contribute to the educational, social, and economic development of the Agra region.
Academic Director Dr. Vikrant Shastri underlined the importance of physical fitness alongside academics, quoting the well-known saying, “A healthy body houses a healthy mind.” He shared that the annual sports initiative “Challenger” was launched in 2012 under the visionary leadership of the Chairperson to promote all-round personality development among students.

An Apex Committee has been formed to ensure the smooth execution of the event, headed by Mr. Himanshu Arya. Key members include Dr. Amendra Singh, Mr. Chandra Shekhar, Mr. Sandeep Saxena, Dr. Khalid Hussain, Sanju Kumar, Bhupendra Kumar, and Kavya Singh.
