Report: S. Muneer
Aligarh, Ameer-ul-Momineen Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (A.S.) is a radiant star whose brilliance and spiritual light will continue to shine forever on the horizon of Wilayat and Khilafat.
On the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary (Youm-e-Wiladat) of Hazrat Ali (A.S.), a grand Mehfil-e-Milad was organised at the under-construction Karbala located in Liaqat Bagh (Chalkora), Aligarh district. A large number of devotees participated in the programme and paid rich tributes with deep reverence.
Addressing the gathering, Ali Hasnain Niazi said that Ameer-ul-Momineen Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (A.S.) is a towering personality whose greatness, dignity, knowledge and practice, piety and devotion, excellence and perfection, generosity and compassion, courage and bravery, wisdom and insight, and extraordinary understanding of divine justice are well established among scholars with authentic evidence.
He said that volumes upon volumes would be required to pen down the countless virtues and qualities of Hazrat Ali (A.S.).
Ali Hasnain Niazi further stated that Hazrat Ali (A.S.) was born on 13th Rajab inside the Holy Kaaba. He was a unique personality whose God-gifted abilities, nurtured under the direct guidance of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), reached the highest level of excellence. His wisdom and foresight are clearly evident in the pages of history like daylight.

He said that Hazrat Ali (A.S.) will remain the true heir of prophetic knowledge and a spiritual guide till the Day of Judgment. Any share of prophetic grace received by anyone after the Holy Prophet (PBUH) has come and continues to come through the spiritual mediation of Hazrat Ali (A.S.).
Highlighting his bravery, he said that the strength and valor of Haider-e-Karrar shone like lightning in every battlefield, and no false force could stand firm against his courage and determination.
He further said that the intellectual gems of Hazrat Ali (A.S.)—his sayings, sermons, judicial verdicts, words of wisdom, decisions based on Shariah, compassionate supplications, spiritual insights of Sufism, the emotions of midnight prayers and intimate supplications—are all reflections of prophetic grace. This was because he received direct training from the Holy Prophet (PBUH) since childhood and was blessed with the honor of being the Prophet’s son-in-law.
Ali Hasnain Niazi said that even the pen fails to fully describe the greatness of Hazrat Ali (A.S.). Books of Hadith are filled with narrations on the virtues, status and excellence of Hazrat Ali. When a status is declared by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) himself, words lose their relevance, and what remains is only an offering of love and devotion.
He added that the golden sayings of Sher-e-Khuda, Quwwat-e-Yazdan, Maula-e-Kainat Ameer-ul-Momineen Hazrat Ali (A.S.) serve as guiding lights, pillars of guidance, principles of life and paths to success for believers in every era.
His life of worship and devotion, piety and righteousness, fear of Allah and love for the Prophet, care for the poor, upbringing of orphans, support for widows, affection for children, love for his companions, firmness against enemies of faith, along with his responsibilities as a ruler, protection of borders, and personal life events continue to invite scholars and researchers for deep study even today.
A large number of devotees were present on the occasion, and the Mehfil concluded in an atmosphere filled with devotion and spirituality.
