AFMEC delegation meets the Minister in Lucknow; Nandi assures participation in the grand event
Lucknow / Agra,A delegation of the Agra Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Chamber (AFMEC) met Uttar Pradesh’s Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ at his official residence, 6 Kalidas Marg, Lucknow, on Saturday.
The delegation invited the Minister to attend the upcoming three-day mega event “Meet at Agra”, scheduled to be held from November 7 to 9 at the Agra Trade Centre, as the Chief Guest.
Minister Nandi assured his presence at the event and lauded the efforts of the footwear industry in boosting Uttar Pradesh’s industrial growth. He said, “Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the double-engine government is fully committed to realizing the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat and Atmanirbhar Uttar Pradesh.”
The Minister also emphasized that the footwear industry is one of the key pillars of the state’s industrial economy and that such events encourage innovation, investment, and global competitiveness.
AFMEC President Gopal Gupta stated that the 17th edition of “Meet at Agra” will bring together not only factory owners but also their associates to promote technological advancement and industrial collaboration. “This event has evolved beyond an exhibition — it is now celebrated as a festival of the footwear industry,” he added.
He further said that the event will showcase new innovations, market trends, and business opportunities, making it a key platform for networking and growth.
The AFMEC delegation included President Gopal Gupta, Vice President Rajeev Vasan, Rajesh Sehgal, Sunil Manchanda, and Anirudh Tiwari, among others.
