Lucknow: President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the state-level launch of Brahma Kumaris’ annual theme, “Meditation for World Unity and Trust,” on 28 November at the Gulzar Upvan Rajyog Training Centre, located on Sultanpur Road near Sahu City, Lucknow. The event will also be attended by Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The President will address the gathering at 12:00 PM, followed by a meditation session in the centre’s Meditation Room. Simultaneous programs based on the theme will be organized across the state at district, tehsil, town, and village levels.
During a press conference at the training centre on Wednesday, Additional Secretary Rajyogi BK Dr. Mrityunjay Bhai said, “In today’s global scenario, the world needs unity and trust more than ever. Unity is the greatest strength. Our culture promotes the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family.”
This year, Brahma Kumaris are organizing programs under the theme through over 8,000 service centres in 140 countries worldwide. The initiative aims to promote unity, trust, and the integration of yoga and meditation into daily life.

About Gulzar Upvan Rajyog Training Centre:
Spread over three acres, the centre features:

A conference hall with a capacity of 500 people

Two seminar halls accommodating 200 people each

Accommodation for over 200 people

A large kitchen capable of serving meals to more than 5,000 individuals
The Divya Sanskriti Building, part of the first phase, houses the seminar halls, meditation rooms, and accommodation facilities. The second phase will feature a 2,000-capacity auditorium, and the third phase will include additional accommodation for 300 people. The foundation of the Divya Sanskriti Building was laid on 5 November 2019 by CM Yogi Adityanath and former chief administrator Rajyogini Dadi Janki.

Historical Significance:
The first Brahma Kumaris service centre in Lucknow was established in Hazratganj in 1955 by the founder, Brahma Baba, and the first chief administrator, Mateshwari Jagdamba Saraswati. Currently, the capital region has 21 service centres with over 100 dedicated Brahma Kumaris serving society.
