Students and Teachers Plant Saplings, Pledge to Protect the Environment

Agra: The Eco Club of Umri Public School organised a tree plantation drive on the school campus. Students and teachers enthusiastically participated in the programme and planted a variety of saplings. They also pledged to protect the environment and take proper care of the newly planted trees.

Speaking on the occasion, School Manager Azhar Umri said that trees are the foundation of life and protecting the environment is a collective responsibility. He urged students to plant more trees, take care of them regularly and inspire others to contribute towards environmental conservation.

He emphasised that creating environmental awareness among children is the need of the hour. Through the Eco Club, the school is making continuous efforts to develop a sense of responsibility among students towards nature, cleanliness and environmental protection.

The students also took a pledge to nurture the saplings and spread the message of environmental conservation in society. The programme concluded with a commitment to continue plantation and ensure the proper care of the plants on the school campus.
