Aligarh: The Aligarh Chapter of the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) successfully organized three different programs in the city yesterday. The events were attended by AMP Uttar Pradesh Cluster Head Akram Khan as the chief guest.
The first program, titled “AMP Awareness Camp,” was held at Ashraf Apartment, Hamza Colony. A large number of local residents participated enthusiastically in the event. During the session, participants were introduced to AMP’s mission, objectives, and various initiatives aimed at educational, social, and economic empowerment. Speakers encouraged people to join AMP and contribute towards the development and upliftment of society.
The second program was the inauguration of the AMP Sewing and Embroidery Center at Safina Apartment, Medical Road. The center is being operated under the leadership of Gulnaz Jahan. The inauguration ceremony was conducted by UP Cluster Head Akram Khan, who formally opened the center by cutting the ribbon. Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the importance of skill development initiatives in empowering women and creating opportunities for self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods.
The third program was a meeting of AMP Aligarh Chapter members held at the residence of Shahzad Hussain. The meeting was attended by all members of the Aligarh team. During the discussion, Akram Khan listened to the views and suggestions of the members and provided valuable guidance for strengthening the organization’s activities and outreach.
The meeting also focused on AMP’s upcoming programs, membership expansion, educational guidance initiatives, skill development projects, and various social welfare activities. Members expressed their commitment to working collectively to further AMP’s mission and to serve the community more effectively.
The programs concluded on a positive note, with participants appreciating AMP’s efforts and expressing confidence that the organization will continue to play a significant role in educational, social, and community development initiatives in the future.
