New Delhi,: The Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) has taken a firm stand, declaring Pakistan’s ongoing repression in Pakistan-Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (POJK) as a crime against humanity. The Manch stated that the struggle of the people of POJK is not merely a regional issue but a fight for all of humanity. National Convener Shahid Sayeed emphasized, “The pain of the people of POJK can no longer be ignored. Their call for freedom, dignity, and justice is our national duty. Pakistan has become a failed state that keeps its own people imprisoned under the shadow of guns.”
Emergency Meeting: Strong Stand Against Pakistan’s Brutality
The central team of MRM held an emergency meeting to discuss the grim situation in POJK. Senior leaders including Shahid Sayeed, Dr. Shahid Akhtar, Virag Pachpor, Dr. Shalini Ali, Mohammad Afzal, Syed Raza Hussain Rizvi, Habib Chaudhary, Girish Juyal, Islam Abbas, Abubakar Naqvi, S.K. Muddin, and Irfan Ali Peerzada were present.
It was unanimously decided to take strong action at the international level against Pakistan’s atrocities in POJK. The Manch appealed to the Muslims of India to unite in support of humanity, truth, and justice — to show the world that this fight is not about borders, but about humanity itself.
Pakistan’s Cruel Face Exposed
Dr. Shahid Akhtar said, “The people of POJK are demanding basic rights — affordable electricity, flour, employment, and self-determination — but Pakistan has responded with bullets and batons. This brutality exposes the double standards of a country that accuses India of human rights violations while shedding the blood of its own people and committing daily atrocities.”
Dr. Shalini Ali expressed deep concern over Pakistan’s behavior, saying, “Women, children, and the elderly in POJK are living under constant fear. Under the guise of ‘freedom for Kashmir,’ Pakistan is spreading terror and oppression. We stand in complete solidarity with the victims of enslaved Kashmir. This is not a war of borders — it is a battle for humanity and justice.”
Appeal for International Intervention
The Manch urged the United Nations and the World Human Rights Council to take immediate cognizance of human rights violations in POJK and put pressure on Pakistan to stop the oppression.
The Manch stated that Pakistan’s move to shut down internet and mobile networks in the region is an attempt to silence the people’s voices, exposing its military dictatorship.
The Horrific Situation in POJK
In POJK, local residents have taken to the streets demanding electricity, water, flour, and basic rights. However, the Pakistani administration has responded to these peaceful demonstrations with violence. Dozens have been killed, hundreds injured, and communication lines remain cut off.
The Manch declared, “Pakistan’s so-called ‘struggle for Kashmir’ is nothing but a mask of deceit. A nation that denies its own people the right to speak has no moral right to speak on India’s Kashmir.”
The Hour of Justice Has Come
Shahid Sayeed concluded, “POJK is an integral part of India. The people there know that India is the only nation where the Constitution and justice are alive. Pakistan has deceived the world for decades in the name of Kashmir, but now the resistance of the people in POJK is exposing its lies. The international community must finally speak out against this silent tyranny.”
