India is globally renowned for its rich culture and historical heritage. The country is home to numerous monuments that are not only marvels of architecture and art but also narrate the stories of Indian history and culture. To promote the importance and preservation of these heritage sites, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) observes World Heritage Week every year.
