Agra,: Under the guidance of Assistant Commissioner of Police, Taj Security, Syed Arib Ahmed, the “Operation Tourist Delight” initiative has proven to be highly beneficial for visitors at the Taj Mahal. Tourists visiting the monument are returning safely to their destinations after experiencing a friendly, secure, and pleasant environment provided by the Taj Security Police.
At the western gate of the Taj Mahal, Station Incharge Tilak Ram Bhati has deployed experienced Quick Response Teams (QRTs) trained to communicate with visitors in all major global languages using Google Translate, ensuring that tourists’ queries and concerns are addressed promptly.
The Taj Security Police personnel, guided by the philosophy of “Atithi Devo Bhava” and “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”, are providing a safe and welcoming environment to all visitors, both domestic and international, earning praise from tourists for their courteous and helpful behavior.
Alongside Operation Tourist Delight, the police are also running Operation Agra Doot, initiatives focused on women and student safety, empowerment, and self-reliance through Mission Shakti, among other measures. These efforts have been highly appreciated by tourists, who have expressed gratitude for the professional yet friendly assistance provided by the Taj Security Police.
Thousands of tourists from across India – including Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Telangana, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Gujarat – and abroad visited the Taj Mahal today. All visitors were given proper guidance to ensure a pleasant and secure sightseeing experience.
The police team includes Sub-Inspector Shivraj Singh, Constable Anurag Dwivedi, and Woman Constable Guddi Kushwaha, all actively assisting tourists as part of this initiative.
