Focus on New Ayush Hospitals, Public Awareness, and Strict Action Against Food Adulteration
Agra: Uttar Pradesh Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ayush, Food Safety and Drug Administration, Dr. Dayashankar Mishra “Dayalu”, chaired a review meeting with concerned departmental officials at the Circuit House in Agra and issued important directions regarding ongoing and upcoming projects.
On his arrival in Agra, the minister was accorded a warm welcome by the Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer, District Homeopathic Medical Officer, other medical officers, and staff members of the Ayush department.

During the meeting, Dr. Mishra reviewed departmental action plans and instructed officials to expedite the process of land identification and allotment for the establishment of new Ayush hospitals, in line with the state government’s vision. He emphasized inter-departmental coordination to ensure timely completion of hospital construction.
The minister stressed the need for wider promotion and public awareness of Ayush systems of medicine. He directed Ayush hospitals to organize regular medical camps and distribute medicines to benefit the general public.

Highlighting the progress of the Ayush sector, Dr. Mishra said that under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Ayush is setting new benchmarks at both the national and state levels.
The minister also issued strict instructions to officials of the Food Safety Department to ensure zero tolerance towards food adulteration. He directed that inspections of food units and food products be carried out with utmost seriousness and regularity.
Present on the occasion were Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Dr. M. S. Alam, District Homeopathic Medical Officer Dr. Prabhat Kumar Kulshreshtha, along with medical officers and staff of the Ayush department.
