Agra:The second day of the Second All India Homeopathic Congress, being held in Agra, proved to be highly significant as it featured extensive discussions based on research, science, and clinical experience. The congress is taking place at the MD Jain Acharya Shanti Sagar Auditorium, Hariparvat, where the proceedings of the second day were inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Mayor Hemlata Diwakar.
Present on the dais were Dr. J.N. Singh Raghuvanshi, Chairman of the Organising Committee, Dr. Parthasarathi Sharma, Organising Secretary, Dr. N.S. Raghuram, General Secretary, Rohit Jain, Rahul Jain, and Sunil Jain, General Secretary of Leaders Agra.
Addressing the gathering, Mayor Hemlata Diwakar said that public trust in homeopathy is steadily increasing across the country. She noted that homeopathy is emerging as a safe, affordable, and effective medical alternative for the common people.
The chief guest, MLC Vijay Shivhare, honoured doctors who presented research papers during the scientific sessions. He remarked that growing public confidence in homeopathy is clear evidence of its scientific foundation and practical success. He added that positive outcomes have been observed in serious and complex diseases such as diabetes and cancer through homeopathic treatment.
Maximum Research Papers Presented on Cancer
Organising Secretary Dr. Parthasarathi Sharma informed that the highest number of research papers during the two-day national congress were presented on the topic of cancer, highlighting the seriousness and depth of scientific research being undertaken in the field of homeopathy.
Dr. Sharma explained that cancer cells are formed daily in every human body and are also destroyed naturally. However, when there is a deficiency of oxygen in the body, these cells become active and begin to multiply. He cautioned the public not to ignore symptoms such as suffocation or heaviness felt suddenly in air-conditioned rooms, as these may indicate low oxygen levels that could create a favourable environment for cancer cells.
He advised maintaining proper cross-ventilation in homes, offices, and clinics to ensure adequate oxygen supply and better overall health.
Focus on AMR and Complementary Medical Systems
The scientific sessions on the second day also focused on the global challenge of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and the limited development of new antibiotics. Experts emphasised that under such circumstances, complementary and alternative medical systems, including homeopathy, could play a crucial role in addressing future healthcare challenges.
Senior homeopathic physician from West Bengal, Dr. Dhurva Jyoti Mitra, shared his clinical experiences regarding the effectiveness of homeopathy in treating serious diseases like cancer. He stated that homeopathy strengthens a patient’s immunity by considering the individual’s complete physical and mental constitution.
Later, Dr. Anant Prakash Gupta presented a research paper titled “Antibacterial Effect of Calendula Officinalis Q Against Clinical Isolates.” He highlighted that multi-drug resistant (MDR) bacteria have become a major concern in modern medicine, including MRSA, ESBL-producing Enterobacteriaceae, carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae, multi-drug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and VRE.
Special Lecture on Miasmatic Theory
A special lecture on “Miasmatic Theory and Its Role in Chronic Diseases” was delivered by Dr. A.K. Singh, Medical Officer, Hathras. He emphasised that the core strength of homeopathy lies in identifying the root cause of disease. According to him, without accurate identification of miasms such as Psora, Sycosis, and Syphilis, permanent solutions for chronic diseases are not possible.
Successful Conclusion of Day Two
Expressing gratitude, Congress Chairman Dr. J.N. Singh Raghuvanshi stated that the second day witnessed active participation from homeopathic doctors, researchers, and members of the public from Agra and various other states. He added that attendees also engaged in meaningful interactions with experts to dispel misconceptions related to homeopathy.
