Agra: Muhammad Adil, President of the Western Uttar Pradesh Youth Wing of the All India Ulema Board, has returned to Agra after successfully completing the sacred pilgrimage of Hajj. Speaking to a correspondent after his return, he shared his spiritual experiences and reflections from the holy journey.
Muhammad Adil said that Hajj is not merely a religious obligation but one of the greatest spiritual experiences that teaches patience, sacrifice, discipline, brotherhood, and complete devotion to Almighty Allah. He described the moment he first set eyes on the Holy Kaaba as an overwhelming experience that words cannot adequately express. “My eyes were filled with tears, and my tongue was occupied only with prayers,” he said.
He added that witnessing millions of Muslims from every corner of the world gathered for the same purpose and engaged in the same acts of worship is a remarkable demonstration of the unity of Islam and the greatness of Allah. According to him, every stage of Hajj—including Tawaf, Sa’i, the stay in Mina, the standing at Arafat, and the night spent in Muzdalifah—leaves a profound impact on a pilgrim’s heart and soul.
Recalling the spiritually uplifting moments at the Plain of Arafat, Adil said that it is there that a person feels closest to their Creator. He noted that millions of pilgrims gather in prayer, seeking forgiveness for their sins and praying for peace, prosperity, and well-being across the world.
As President of the Western Uttar Pradesh Youth Wing of the All India Ulema Board, Muhammad Adil emphasized that the greatest message of Hajj in today’s world is humanity, mutual brotherhood, and social harmony. He said that every pilgrim should return with a renewed commitment to promoting love, peace, service to society, and strong moral values.
He also praised the Government of Saudi Arabia and the authorities responsible for organizing Hajj, stating that excellent arrangements had been made for the safety, health, and comfort of millions of pilgrims. Modern technology and efficient management, he said, ensured the smooth conduct of the entire Hajj operation.
Muhammad Adil further revealed that during Hajj he offered special prayers for the progress of India, the prosperity of Uttar Pradesh, peace and harmony in Agra, and the well-being of all humanity. He observed that the pilgrimage brings about a positive transformation in a person’s life and strengthens their sense of responsibility toward society.
Upon his arrival in Agra, he received a warm welcome from family members, friends, social activists, and well-wishers. Expressing his gratitude, he said that the experience of Hajj would remain one of the most precious treasures of his life.
Concluding his message, Muhammad Adil said, “Hajj not only strengthens a believer’s connection with Allah but also teaches the importance of serving humanity. I pray that Almighty Allah grants every eligible Muslim the opportunity to perform Hajj and blesses the world with peace, harmony, and brotherhood.”
