Agra — The Citizen Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament, organized by the Citizen Cricket Club, witnessed four exciting matches on its opening day. Zeeshan Eleven, Mohsin Eleven, and Bunty Eleven emerged victorious in their respective matches, while Abdul Rehman Eleven was awarded a walkover after their opponents, GK Club, arrived late for the second match of the day.

The tournament, held at St. John’s College Cricket Ground, was inaugurated by the college principal, Dr. S.P. Singh, who welcomed the players and bowled the first ball.
The opening match saw Mohsin Eleven defeating Adnan Eleven by 62 runs. The third match of the day featured Bunty Eleven against Shamsher Eleven, with Bunty Eleven winning by 27 runs. The final match of the day was a thrilling contest between Afridi Eleven and Zeeshan Eleven, in which Zeeshan Eleven clinched victory by just 2 runs.

All four winning teams will compete in the semi-finals scheduled for Sunday. The tournament will conclude with the final match followed by an award ceremony, with awards presented by Rajya Sabha MP Ramjilal Suman.
Umpires for the matches were Atul Solanki and Matiuddin, while scorers Vivek and Nikhil, and commentator Deshpande, were present. Tournament secretaries Muin Babuji, Baldev Bhatnagar, Kamal Kapoor, Naveen Goswami, Harish Saxena Chimti, Narendra Sharma, Shanu Quraishi, Adil, Mohammad Tahir, Rizwan, and others were also in attendance.
