Prayagraj: 6 UP Girls Battalion NCC Prayagraj and 1 UP Medical Company NCC organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp to mark the 78th NCC Day. The event was held under the guidance of Group Commander Brigadier Upendra Singh Kandil of the NCC Group Headquarters.

Around 300 participants, including cadets, PI staff, ANOs, GCI, and civilian staff from various NCC units, took part in the camp. On the occasion, a total of 50 individuals, including officers, NCC girls and boys, and PI staff, donated blood.

Key donors included Group Commander Brigadier Upendra Singh Kandil, Colonel Nishant Bariyar (Acting Commanding Officer, 16 UP Battalion), Lt. Colonel Arvind Singh (Acting Commanding Officer, 17 UP Battalion), and Major Santosh Jaiswal (Commanding Officer). Blood collection was carried out by a team from the Allahabad Medical Association and the Cantonment General Hospital.
First-time participating cadets from the Girls Battalion pledged to make blood donation a regular practice in the future.

Brigadier Upendra Singh Kandil encouraged the cadets to actively participate in blood donation. Under the supervision of Lt. Colonel Rajeshwari Prasad (Acting Training Officer), Wing Commander Debartho Dhar (Public Relations Officer, Defence), Subedar Major Harwinder Singh, and Subedar Major Avtar Singh, cadets also raised awareness among the public through street plays (Nukkad Natak), group songs, and speeches.
The entire program concluded successfully, leaving a strong impact on both the participants and the local community.
