Ajmer, With the objective of empowering the youth of the 800-year-old Khadim community of Ajmer Sharif, the Chishti Foundation, in collaboration with Saksham Sanchar Foundation, organized a grand seminar on media & communication education, career counseling, and startup dialogue at the historic Chishtiya Hall, Dargah Sharif, Ajmer.
The seminar, held from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of young men and women, students, Anjuman members, and senior representatives of the Khadim-e-Khwaja community. Their presence reflected a strong aspiration for education and development among the youth of the region.
The event featured a distinguished panel of nationally reputed experts from the fields of media, communication, career counseling, and entrepreneurship. Mrs. Archana Sharma, Director of Saksham Sanchar Foundation, shared valuable insights on media literacy and communication skills. Dr. Lalit Khatri, Senior Career Counselor at Click to College, guided youth on career planning and professional pathways. Raunak Kumar Sinha from Chandigarh University spoke about emerging career opportunities. Prof. (Dr.) Fakira Mohan Nahak, Director of PR & Media Communication at Manipal University Jaipur, discussed the evolving landscape of media and public relations. Neelam Singh, Editor of The Haldi Indian and Project Director at Trusted Information Alliance, highlighted the importance of responsible journalism and credible media. Renowned author Yajvender Yadav spoke about writing, personal branding, and the power of communication. Mr. Sandeep Dahiya, Bureau Chief at PTI, shared his extensive experience in national media and journalism.
The welcome address was delivered by Haji Syed Salman Chishti, setting an inspiring tone for the event. Advocate Syed Iqbal Chishti shared his long-standing experience with the Anjuman and encouraged youth to actively contribute to community development. Syed Fakhr Moeen delivered a powerful speech on the importance of education. The program was skillfully moderated by Rahat Hussain Motiwala, while the recitation of the Holy Quran was performed by Syed Fuzail Chishti.
In his keynote address, Haji Syed Salman Chishti, Gaddi Nashin of Dargah Ajmer Sharif and Chairman of Chishti Foundation, emphasized that empowering youth through education, skill development, and entrepreneurship is the need of the hour. He urged the younger generation to adopt modern communication skills and assured continued support from the Chishti Foundation for such developmental initiatives.
In recognition of their outstanding contributions to media, communication, and career counseling, the Chishti Foundation honored Mrs. Archana Sharma, Dr. Lalit Khatri, Raunak Kumar Sinha, Prof. (Dr.) Fakira Mohan Nahak, Neelam Singh, Yajvender Yadav, and Sandeep Dahiya with Excellence Awards. The awards were presented by senior members of the Khadim community, Anjuman representatives, and Haji Syed Salman Chishti.
Certificates were distributed to all participants. The vote of thanks was delivered by Syed Ali Zaid Chishti and Syeda Samar Chishti, who expressed gratitude to all experts, community members, and youth for making the seminar a success.
This seminar proved to be a significant step in bridging the gap between Ajmer’s youth and national-level expertise, setting a new benchmark for community-driven educational initiatives.
