Arshad Faridi, Sajjada Nashin of the Dargah of Hazrat Salim Chishti (RA), Fatehpur Sikri, Attends as Chief Guest; Special Prayers Offered for Peace and Prosperity
Agra, : The Kul Sharif of Hazrat Syedna Shah Ameer Abul Ula (RA), revered as the Sartaj-e-Agra, was observed with great devotion and spiritual fervour on Saturday, 25 July 2026 (9 Safar 1448 AH) at the holy shrine in Agra.
The ceremony was led by Sajjada Nashin and Mutawalli Hazrat Syed Mohtashim Ali Abul Ulai, in the presence of Deputy Sajjada Nashins Syed Virasat Ali Abul Ulai, Syed Ishaat Ali Abul Ulai, Syed Kaif Ali Abul Ulai, Zakir Ali Danish (Hyderabad) and Sufi Zubair Miyan (Hyderabad).
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Arshad Faridi, Sajjada Nashin of the Dargah of Hazrat Salim Chishti (RA), Fatehpur Sikri, who was warmly welcomed by the shrine management and devotees. His presence added special significance to the spiritual gathering.
Among those present were members of the Sajjada Nashin’s family, including Syed Iqbal Ali, Syed Arib Ali, Syed Asim Ali, Syed Shahab Ali and Syed Azhar Ali, along with distinguished guests and devotees from different parts of India.
The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by the traditional sprinkling of rose water across the shrine premises. According to local belief, receiving the blessed rose-water during the Kul Sharif is considered a sign of divine blessings and the acceptance of prayers.
Hazrat Syed Mohtashim Ali Abul Ulai offered special prayers for India’s progress, communal harmony, peace, prosperity and the well-being of humanity. He also highlighted the spiritual legacy and historical contributions of Hazrat Syedna Shah Ameer Abul Ula (RA), whose teachings continue to inspire people with the message of love, unity and service to mankind.
The ceremony concluded with collective prayers for national unity, global peace and the welfare of all humanity.
