New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia has announced a remarkable achievement by its alumni through the University Placement Cell (UPC), as ten students from the 2024 and 2025 batches secured prestigious placements at AlMeer Saudi Technical Services Co..

The selected candidates, belonging to B.Tech programs in Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering, have been appointed as Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) with an impressive annual package of ₹12 lakh along with company-provided accommodation.
The placement drive was conducted during the company’s campus visit in December 2025. The delegation from AlMeer Saudi Technical Services Co. included CEO & President Gulam Mustafa, Vice President (Operations) Furquan Mohammad, and Estimation Manager Mohammad Khaja.

The visiting team was warmly welcomed by Hony. Director Prof. Rahela Farooqi and Hony. Deputy Director Prof. Sabah Khan. Director CIE and Professor TPO Prof. Rihan Khan Suri also extended his gratitude to the delegates.
The recruitment process began with a detailed pre-placement talk where company officials briefed students about the organization, job responsibilities, and future career opportunities. The selection process included face-to-face interviews, questionnaire assessments, and final evaluation rounds. The selected students have now joined the company in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif and Registrar Prof. Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, the University Placement Cell continues to provide quality training and placement opportunities for students and alumni.
