The Agra Metro team explained that the metro is an eco-friendly and green initiative. As a Mass Rapid Transit System, it operates with minimal carbon emissions and plays a vital role in environmental conservation. Students were also guided on how to use metro services effectively in their daily lives.
During the ride, officials highlighted how commuters can avoid traffic congestion and pollution by choosing the metro, making travel smoother, safer, and more convenient. The students were also informed about various passenger-friendly features available at metro stations and inside trains, including ramps, escalators, lifts, tactile paths, passenger display systems, and Braille-enabled facilities.
Additionally, the metro team shared information about unique services offered by the Agra Metro, such as booking spaces inside metro premises for celebrations like birthdays, anniversaries, and small gatherings.
It is noteworthy that the Agra Metro route connects key locations of the city, including educational institutions, major railway stations, bus terminals, hospitals, workplaces, and markets.
