Agra Social Worker Couple Honoured in New York for Their Service Activities
Agra: Renowned Agra-based social worker couple, Councillor Murarilal Goyal, popularly known as “Paint Wale,” and his wife Suman Goyal were internationally honoured in New York, USA, for their continuous contribution towards social welfare and public service.
Associated with several social and industrial organisations including Seva Agra, Vishwa Kalyan Mission Trust, Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat, National Chamber and Akhil Bharatiya Agrawal Sammelan, the couple has been actively engaged in welfare initiatives for the underprivileged, needy people and the betterment of society.
The Goyal couple visited New York City from May 12 to May 17 to participate in a six-day international seminar organised by Kansai Nerolac Paints. During the event, they were felicitated with a trophy by International Managing Director Praveen D. Chaudhary, Senior Vice President Ram Malhotra, Vice President Ram Naik and General Manager S. Madan.
Addressing 111 selected top paint traders from India and several other countries, Councillor Murarilal Goyal strongly raised the slogans “Wear Helmet, Save Life” and “Educate Daughters, Save Daughters.”
He urged traders and businessmen to come forward in support of life-saving and social welfare campaigns and dedicate a part of their earnings for the welfare of the underprivileged, needy sections and society at large.
