Agra: The Agra Division has achieved significant success in its strict action against narcotics under the campaign “Operation Narcos.”
Conducted under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Mr. Gagan Goyal and the direction of Senior Divisional Security Commissioner Mr. P. Raj Mohan, the special drive aims to ensure passenger safety and strengthen law and order within railway premises.
During the campaign, from April 2025 to March 2026, authorities seized 143.93 kilograms of ganja worth ₹4,508,450 (approx.) and arrested 10 accused individuals.
The operation, carried out in coordination with the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and other concerned agencies, has played a crucial role in curbing drug trafficking in the region.
The Agra Division has reaffirmed its commitment to continue such drives to provide passengers with a safe, secure, and drug-free environment.
